Our Hillbrush timeline has been a long time in progress, with all of the image hunting, composition and design happening behind the scenes in secret. We are utterly delighted to tell you that the timeline is now up in our visitor centre and looking amazing! It features an extensive history of the company, including tidbits of info, dates that directors started working at Hillbrush, how the company has developed along with the rest of the world, and many photos spanning 1922 to the present day.
Each piece was individually printed and placed on the wall by our good friends Freestyle Designs in Bath who do such superb work. You can see a snapshot of the timeline being installed below.
Here is the finished artwork. Of course nothing beats coming to Visit Hillbrush to see it in person!

Mere Flower and Music Festival is well underway and we wanted to share some photos of the incredible flower arrangements. Massive thank you to Pammy Coward for putting together this stunning, colourful flower-and-brushes display. It must have taken ages and it’s so eye-catching, a real burst of colour. We are proud to represent Hillbrush and Visit Hillbrush at the festival and we hope people will drop in to see us on their travels.

Regardless of the rainy, blustery weather we have been having lately, people have been popping in to see us and try our restaurant. We’ve found a couple of reviews about Visit Hillbrush and wanted to share what others have been saying about our visitor centre.
First, The Dorset Foodie Family posted about a recent visit, encouraging people to give us a try if they haven’t already. They also included some excellent photos of their coffee and cake!
We were also reviewed by Taste of the West, whose aim is to promote fantastic local food and drink in Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. You can read their review here.
If you see any write ups or reviews, or if you have written one yourself and would like us to share it on our social media, please get in touch. And if you are in the area, pop in and say hello. We would love to meet you!
We have just passed our 5000th customer at Visit Hillbrush! We just wanted to thank everyone who has come down to see us and lend their support by buying products from our shop, dining in our restaurant, and spending time browsing our museum. We hope you’ll come and see us again soon!
